The way to make one of the cheapest way to get hone holder
Please click here to see more pictures
I have thought how to make easy and low cost whetstone holder for a long time, and recently, I figured out what this is the one of the way to make it lower cost and easy to make for everyone.
I use synthetic wood outside deck floor, so it is waterproof and heavy, and all I need is the bottom side of base wood block and two small wood pieces for the both ends, and wide strong rubber bands, and I screwed one side of the end, but it can use rubber band for the both ends instead of screwed one end.
After tightened with rubber bands, the end piece is strong enough to hold the whetstone, and it is gripped well on the bottom of the holder without slipping.
It is not quick one touch adjustable, but it is still adjustable size of the whetstone.

A thought of Japanese Razor Handle
I have been using Japanese razor for many years, and I have feeled that Japanese razor handle does not fit in my hand well.
If I use rubble grip, it might solve the problem, but I wanted to know what is the real problem is.
Especially, little finger and razor handle does not fit well.
It is kind of the razor handle is moving around inside of the little finger,so it makes me feel not comfortable to make accurate movement for shaving and sharpening the razor.
I holded my fingers the same way as using the razor, and I looked it from little finger side, and I fuguared out the little finger loop diameter is much bigger than the razor handle diameter.
That must make hold on the razor handle with stable way very hard.
Therefore, I drilled in the middle of 3/8 inch(9mm) diameter solid alminium, and putting in the end of the razor handle, and glue with epoxy.
Now, it looks not nice with any design, but it solves the problem, so I think it is the problem.
